The melody is switched around through all the instruments, while the accompaniment stays pretty much the same (as is common practice for a Brass Quintet when we are given a four-part hymn to follow). I then added an intro and slapped a Canadian Brass - Henderson type of ending. It may seem a little "Hacky" but I get really great feedback from audiences. It is listed as difficult as to the High Range, particularly for Trumpet, Trombone and Tuba. Memorization so that the soloists can stand up during their chance at the melody (kind of giving musical testimonial) is effective (especially if all stand up at ending).
