Composed by Traditional English Melody. Arranged by Simon Peberdy. Christmas,Contemporary,Standards. Score. 7 pages. Simon Peberdy #3681647. Published by Simon Peberdy (A0.757059).

A stumbling, drunken (or tipsy at least) take on the traditional "Gloucestershire Wassail" Christmas Carol. The original melody becomes rather unsteady on its feet as it teeters between 5/4 metre, reminiscent of Dave Brubeck's "Take Five" and the rather more stable 3/4. Sometimes it manages to almost completely regain its composure, but hiccups and totters to the end.

One of a series of Christmas Carol variations for 2 pianos, 4 hands. For more, please visit www.simonpeberdymusic.com

The mp3 is a computer-generated one at the moment, I'm afraid.
