Composed by Johann Sebastian Bach. Arranged by C. van Graan. Baroque,Classical,Sacred. 8 pages. C. van Graan #6204323. Published by C. van Graan (A0.901732).

Johann Sebastian Bach's chorale prelude Wachet auf, ruft uns die Stimme ("Wake, Awake for Night is Passing"), BWV 645, has been arranged as a duet for organ and piano!

Bach used "Zion hört die Wächter singen" (Zion hears the watchmen singing) from his cantata "Wachet auf, ruft uns die Stimme" (Awake, calls the voice to us / Sleepers, awake!), BWV 140, as the basis for the first of his Schübler Chorales, BWV 645.

With the repeat, it is between four and five minutes in duration. The level for both instruments is Advanced Intermediate. The score shows both parts: the organ part at the top and the piano part at the bottom.
