Gelido in ogni vena is an aria from the opera Il Farnace, composed by Antonio VIVALDI (1678 – 1741) in 1727 and revised several times for its following productions. The realization of the aria, made by Sergei Pichugin, is based on the score manuscript of the version of the opera from 1731. It should be noted that the Cembalo/Piano part in the score is not intended for solo performance of the aria as voice and piano arrangement.

The aria is available in the key of D minor (A3 – E5) for low voice.
