"Veni, Sancte Spiritus" is one movement from a larger work entitled Reconciliation, a set of 12 Latin prayers.  
Each movement takes it's inspiration from individual postcards containing pictures of St. Michael's Cathedral
in Coventry, England. When performed in sequence, Reconciliation can serve as a worship service however,
the individual movements also can stand alone.
This particular movement's inspiration came from a postcard containing the large group of windows known as
the "Screen of Saints and Angels" with 66 larger-than-life saints and angels. The artist, John Hutton, took
ten years to create this work and is buried directly beneath it.
Veni, Sancte Spiritus, reple                                 Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of
tuorum corda fidelium, et tui                              Thy faithful and kindle in them the
amoris in eis ignem accende.                               fire of Thy love.
Emitte Spiritum tuum et creabuntur                   Send forth Thy Spirit and they shall be created.
Et renovabis faciem terrae.                                  And Thou shalt renew the face of the earth.
