Uptown Funk was recorded by Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars for Ronson's fourth album Uptown Special (2015). The song went though multiple versions before finally settling on the widely loved final track. Uptown Funk became a cultural phenomenon, spending  14 weeks in a row at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 and 7 weeks as number one on the UK Single Chart. In addition, Uptown Funk is the second best-selling single of 2015 and one of the best selling of all time, grossing over 20 million digital sales.
