Here is a straight-forward trio arrangement (for VIOLIN and CELLO duet with PIANO accompaniment) of the famous Christmas tune "Up On the Housetop." The VIOLIN plays the melody for the first verse and the CELLO plays the melody for the second verse. This fun-to-learn arrangement is a welcome addition to the repertoire for beginning string students and suitable for recitals or just some family fun around the piano during the holiday season.  

All notes for both the VIOLIN and CELLO are playable in the first position making this arrangement an excellent choice for early-intermediate string players. The PIANO accompaniment is written for an intermediate player.
