Petite Waltz is a lyrical journey of interweaving melodies, twists and turns, is around grade 4, and performed as a Descant/Treble recorder duet.
The second miniature (entitled Fairy echoes) is based largely on a call and response theme from the recorders. They then duet magnificently in a charming flight of fantasy. This movement is more challenging (around grade 6 or 7), and is played on two descant recorders.
This sheet music download includes; piano accompaniment part (with recorder lines above), an EASY piano part for movement 2 (just as a practice/preparation aid), Recorder parts 1 and 2 in duet layout (both parts on the same page), and separate recorder 1 and 2 parts. we would also be delighted to email you the demonstration and backing tracks should you wish, after completing the sale.
