The text evokes a young lad and a young lass meeting in the forest and finding themselves drawn into a fairy ring to dance. The song has sections that focus on the dance interspersed with slow motion depictions of how beautiful the maiden is as they dance. The piece finishes in a blaze of glory with drum, choir and all pell mell! The percussion part has loose directions for improvisation and could also be played on many other world drums, improvised fiddle, or any other world dance instruments. .
