The refrain for this exuberant responsorial psalm for Christmas Eve is based on a French carol with newly composed verses for SAB choir in a festive role of “cantor.” Optional parts for flute, trumpet, and descant on the refrain give the psalm an acclamatory feel on this most special of nights giving “Glory to God.” SAB.
