My goal is to create something that sounds beautiful as a standalone piece of music and, most importantly, that it also makes "pianistic" sense. Each of my arrangements is made for a specific student, so the results will vary in terms of playing level. Most decisions are based on their current skills and abilities, or where I would like for them to be when they complete the piece. This arrangement was made for a late intermediate student working in Level 5 of the Alfred's Masterwork Classics series. It borders early advanced in some sections, but it's not as bad as it seems. My student was especially motivated to learn this and he did a fantastic job. Very fun rendition. Even I couldn't stop playing it for a few days. Pedal and fingering suggestions are included.
