Piano Music brings together five collections of music for piano from the repertoire of the composer. It inherits the thematic foundation for piano music and its most common forms, and contains its characteristic technical virtuosity and lyrical passages, sonata forms that have been transformed by the personal logistics of the composer as well as by the intricacies of building an album. The work flows from the innermost corners of intimistic music and travels through moments that are mystical and spiritual, liturgical and religious, into traditional waltzes imbued with classical piano forms before emptying into "Piezas Pecaminosas", a collection of four pieces for piano. Piano Music is an adventure into knowledge that joins the thousands of musical pieces in the universal repertoire for piano. As we listen, we are taken through intimate musical passages leading into pieces executed with the utmost visual virtuosity.
