Published by Rick Robertson (S0.24654).This is my "opus 1", composed between 1977 and 1979, during my high school and early college years. The first two "moods" were originally part of a piano sonatina that won at the state (Alabama) and regional (Southeast) division of the Music Teachers National Association College Composition Contest in 1980. Age and wisdom (?) deemed the remainder of the sonatina "not worth saving", and I replaced it with a movement written two years earlier. I still have strong feelings about this piece, and feel that it has much to offer as a repertoire piece for a developing pianist.
