    Difficulty Level:
  • January 17, 2011 good for young students

I like the method and it is super repetitive. So I find this better for my younger students (age 8 and below). It has a lot of counting exercises and has kids use colors to color keyboard notes etc. Very good for piano students. Might feel less relevant for the...

students who do not have or use a keyboard.

    Difficulty Level:
  • August 21, 2009 Pretty good, but. . .

They use 1-1-1-1 counting when there are quarter notes in 4/4, instead of traditional 1-2-3-4. Other than that it's great reinforcement for reading and theory, with only one huge complaint: in the word puzzles, there are hidden Christian messages ("He lives beyond...

glory", for example)-- VERY offensive to Muslims and we Jews, and there's no good reason for it in these books. Major problem for me and some of my students.
