My arrangement is influenced by Disturbed's rendition of the classic hit, which premiered in 2015. It features instrumental parts for timpani and tubular bells. Endorsed by Paul Simon, Disturbed's version of "The Sound Of Silence" is powerful, haunting, and full of emotion. The purpose of my arrangement is to capture the sounds produced by Disturbed and emulate them through a higher-level high school or college choir.
