(Level V) This burning arrangement of the Wayne Shorter tune from Miles Davis' Sorcerer album is based loosely on the big band chart by Chuck Dotas. It features alto and tenor saxophones and contains a soli section with two-line counterpoint, doubled in the saxophones. The new lyric written by Marsh speaks of the human intellectual search for knowledge and understanding. Works well as an opener or closer. SATB w/ rhythm section.
