  • March 29, 2021 A MUST for a Dixieland Band

A MUST HAVE for any Dixieland band! Clearly and professionally written. The melody is a great help for the lead instruments. The chords allow for playing (and learning) improvisation. The words allow singing which helps the band sound and look and sound more professional and FUN. Very nice range of...

songs and easy to follow for all skill levels. The folks at Sheet Music Plus were both competent and kind. They were able to clarify and answer the couple of questions I had. We plan on using this book in the upcoming dixieland jazz festivals.

  • February 14, 2014 The Real Dixieland Book

A great book!! However, since I play tenor sax and clarinet I would like a version for Bb instruments, so I don't have to transpose every tune I want my quartet to play. Are you planning to publish Bb and Eb versions??

  • October 24, 2011 A Must for Dixieland Fans

I play tenor banjo in a band and go to jams. This book has almost 250 entries including blues and rags. The songs have words. The tunes include intros and verse, not just the chorus. I come back to this book time and time again. I highly recommend it!
