Latin at its best, this chart falls into an authentic Cuban songo feel that grooves from top to bottom. Written to feature alto and trombone (optional trumpet), there is extensive solo space for both over great chord changes. A final montuno builds and builds to a sizzling shout and an electrifying ending. No doubles. Critical percussion part. Recorded on UNC's Alive X CD.
