The finale of Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 2 in C, the "Little Russian" is based on a Russian folksong called The Crane. This arrangement is an abridged version of the finale. The original key of C major has been lowered to B-flat major, but the flavor of the work remains intact as the composer originally intended. This exciting work would make an excellent concert closer or encore.
