THE CHRISTMAS ELF

Every year is always the same
With the arrival of Christmas
I do not feel very well
Melancholy assails me
But this year I'm sure
To be able to control it
With the help of a story
What time am I going to tell

In the realm of Santa Claus
There is a somewhat special pixie
Who cares nothing
Of the joy of the people
Of toys and gifts
He doesn't want to build it
and the Christmas party for him is only to be abolished

"Come here,
there is Monica
another fairy tale will tell "

An annoying character
Without brakes and arrogant
What comes to mind
For sure he will

To ruin the atmosphere
The magic of that evening
He will work hard
You say it will succeed?
He will wish everyone a Merry Christmas
With the hope that everything will go wrong

in the marzipan put the salt
panettone to throw away
gingerbread and cupcakes
with purgative it will fill

A little bit of ether and the reindeer will sleep
While he hops and wishes you a happy new year

How many births have passed (another life)
Many memories now faded (which no longer exists)
Time passes and will not report
The childhood I haven't lived
A day like any other then
The world outside was celebrating
But that grayness did not change
Santa Claus was not coming
My dreams did not come true
And my letter never read

But let's go back to the present
And to my arrogant goblin
I know about him what you think
You would like to cancel it
From my Christmas book
Because it goes against the current
Just like my mind
That I can't harness

But what is good and what is bad
It is difficult to understand
because now this Christmas is a commercial affair
only items to buy
the elf wants us to understand
that Christmas is all year
if we live in love

packages and sparkling gift boxes
the gleaming windows
flashy bows and ribbons
the goblin will burn
will wish everyone a merry christmas
and meanwhile he will add gall to the biscuits
Santa Claus will certainly fire him….

"Come here that Monica
It tells us how this story will end "

Don't think so badly
Of my elf who reflects
The neurosis that assails me
At the arrival of Christmas
He has nothing to do with it, he is innocent
Born from a mind
Who does not want to forget and smile in the present….

Christmas is here and will pass
With the Befana my coal will arrive!
