Composed by Cindy Blevins. Contemporary,New Age. Individual part. 116 pages. Cindy Blevins #3130609. Published by Cindy Blevins (A0.541836).

This is a special edition of the Lap Harp Compendium which I put together at the behest of Edie Elkin (Bedside Harp). The songs are the same except that the entire book is in the key of C (or related minor) or modes. There are no levers needed for this entire book. This version also includes chord symbols.

There are several sample excerpts for you to view. The audio sample is an excerpt of "Falling to Heaven."

This is a description of the original Lap Harp Compendium (also available). Most of it applies to this Bedside version as well.

I put "The Lap Harp Compendium" together from what were my "little books" of 10 or so lap harp pieces written approximately 1999 through 2007. The little books are no longer in print, but the Lap Harp Compendium is extremely popular. The music is useful for any gig you can imagine.

There are 52 two-page songs and four one-page songs, within 108 pages of music, ordered more or less progressively from easier to late intermediate. Something for everyone! Of course, large harps can play too.
