This hauntingly beautiful Basque carol has been artfully presented in an SATB arrangement. The verses build gradually but remain simple and effective throughout. The keyboard writing is a joy to play, gracefully supporting the vocals and falling very naturally under the fingers. The constant motion creates its own stunning effect of movement. The vocals end with an extended "Gloria" that ends neatly on a major chord.
