Handbell - Level 2 - Digital Download

SKU: A0.953718

Composed by Dutch Folk Song, Genevan Psalter, George Job Elvey, and and Edwin O. Excell. Arranged by G. R. Adkison. Christian,Sacred. Score. 6 pages. Gary Ray Adkison #7713. Published by Gary Ray Adkison (A0.953718).

"Thanksgiving Blessings" is a 71 measure, 4-5 octave handbell choir arrangement. This arrangement is a medley of the Thanksgiving hymns: "We Gather Together", "Come, Ye Thankful People, Come", "Praise God from Whom All Blessings Flow" and "Count Your Blessings". In "Praise God from Whom All Blessings Flow", OPTIONAL handchimes are used. Bells can be used in place of the chimes. In the chorus of "Count Your Blessings", there is a chordal descant line. After the final ‘Count your many blessings. See what…’ phrase, that phrase is twice repeated in different keys---the last time at a significantly slower tempo, leading to an extended ending which includes shakes. This is probably a level 2+ arrangement, in difficulty.
