Composed by traditional tune, composer unknown. Arranged by Ray Kamada. Folk,World. Score and parts. 7 pages. The Lone Arranger #3377323. Published by The Lone Arranger (A0.757330).

Two traditional Arab folk tunes: Tafta Hindi is sort of a street merchant's cry, but really more about a traveling salesman who sells fabrics from India to Arab women. Ah Ya Zein's a popular belly dancer's tune from Syria - lyrics are loosely something like: I saw you on the sun's path and since that day love lives in my heart. Growing restless and changed for the worse, I lost my soul in your beautiful eyes in the garden. The arrangement is scored for a full string quartet, yet works well for a violin, viola, cello trio, and sounds acceptable for a two violin, cello trio
