Summer in Valley City (Score) - Large Wind Ensemble (Score ~~ orchestral parts are available on a rental basis) - Ross Lee Finney was born in Wells, Minnesota, on December 23, 1906. He studied with Nadia Boulanger, Alban Berg, and Roger Sessions. He received the Prix de Rome in 1960, and the Brandeis Medal in 1968. His students have included Leslie Bassett, George Crumb, and Roger Reynolds. Ross Lee Finney died on February 4, 1997.
