Composed by Drake Mabry. 20th Century,Contemporary. Score and parts. 28 pages. Drake Mabry #518877. Published by Drake Mabry (A0.799438).

There are many conversational elements in this piece. Dialogues abound between the players. The three chorales provide arrival points separated by episodes of varying colors and textures. There is some use of contemporary techniques as well as sections with spatial notation. This is the work, written when I arrived in Aspen, that resulted in Krzysztof Penderecki accepting to work with me during his summer residency. The duration is 9 minutes. This is a manuscript score, thus the reduced price.

The premiere was by the University String Quartet at Rice University, Houston, Texas on, December 5, 1977.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
