Recorded by Ella Fitzgerald. Edited by Rob DuBoff and Jeffrey Sultanof. Arranged by Nelson Riddle. Range: Trumpet 1: D6; Trombone 1: C5. Slow Swing. Full score. Published by Jazz Lines Publications (JL.JLP-9454S).

In April of 1962 Ella Fitzgerald returned to the studio with Nelson Riddle to record material for the Verve album Ella Swings Gently with Nelson. This arrangement of the Victor Young/Sam Lewis standard Street of Dreams was recorded during that session. Written in a slow swing style, the chart has all of the typical Riddle touches. The instrumentation calls for a full big band (alto sax 1 doubles flute) with a string section, harp, and bells. A synthesizer part has been included that may be used in the event that string players are not available. This has been prepared from the original Nelson Riddle pencil score - this is not a transcription.
