 This arrangement is set for easy piano and any melodic instrument. Included are parts for:

- Flute or violin

- Viola (in alto clef)

- Alto saxophone (in Eb)

- Clarinet, soprano saxophone or tenor saxophone (in Bb)

- Violoncello, bassoon or trombone (in bass clef)

 

The piano part is always the same (the pianist must not learn a new part)

 

The key (Bb major) is chosen so that it is possible for most middle voices to sing along.

 

 

Silent Night is arguably the world's most popular Christmas carol.

This song famously played a key role in the unofficial truce in the trenches in 1914 because it was one of the only carols that both British and German soldiers knew
