Composed by Nick Roels. Baroque,Contemporary. Score and parts. 7 pages. Nick Roels #3057079. Published by Nick Roels (A0.883042).

Spring Blossom is a theme and variations (six variations), for clarinet and guitar. The piece is an original composition from composer Nick Roels, and was written with the thoughts of spring flowers blossoming, as well as new opportunities blossoming throughout the new year.

Although the theme has a tempo of half note = 110, the piece can be taken much slower, as slow as 80 bpm, which, in some cases, might be better to ensure that your guitarist is able to hit all of the eighth notes.

A very flexible piece, Spring Blossom is meant to have a very calm, bouncy, and happy feel to it. The variations include embellished melodic lines, mixed melodies, two variations in 3/4, and one in minor.

Instrumentation:
Clarinet
Guitar
