Composed by Michael Bomier. 20th Century,Contemporary,Instructional. Score. 10 pages. Michael Butkus-Bomier #433503. Published by Michael Butkus-Bomier (A0.862570).2015 Piano Contest The first of four movements, in traditional sonata form, using a topographical and mirrored symmetrical yet overtly tonal approach to keyboard writing. Black keys and white are co-ordinated between the hands. Rhythm may offset their simultaneous sounding, but that concept pervades all four movements. This first movement uses a Beethoven-like motive, and also LVB's meticulous developmental procedures. There is a middle section with a contrasting key and figuration, but the symmetry and topographical mirroring are strongest here. Advanced to Advanced Intermediate level, as it the entire Sonata. This movement is marked at a tempo that makes for a duration of around 8 minutes. Find the best tempo for your level and expressive goal. MP3 MIDI audio.
