Unlike most Beatles songs Something was written by George Harrison rather than the duo Lennon & McCartney. Something was a dreamy, but at the same time powerful ballad and was described as 'the most beautiful love song ever' by Frank Sinatra. Naohiro Iwai has now produced a compelling concert band arrangement of this song, which will be a surefire hit in any concert programme.

In wenig mehr als sieben Jahren gemeinsamer Studioarbeit schufen die Beatles zahlreiche grosse, zeitlose Hits, die sie zur Legende machten. Im Fruhjahr 1969, als die Rennung der "Fabulous Four" eigentlich schon in der Luft lag, gelang George Harrison, der gerade in der spaten Beatlesperiode beachtliche kompositorische Fahigkeiten entwickelte, mit dem sanften Something noch einmal ein wunderschoner Titel, der in der gefuhlvollen Bearbeitung von Naohiro Iwai nun auf die Interpretation Ihres Blasorchesters wartet.
