This arrangement of Rimsky-Korsakoff's setting of the Russian national hymn retains the character of the original scoring for chorus and orchestra by having half the orchestra play the choral line, while the other half plays the instrumental accompaniment. It requires extensive divisi playing and is best suited to a large, advanced group.
