Sheep may safely graze, one of Bach’s top hits, is arranged here for organ solo from cantata BWV 208, known as the Hunting Cantata, is a secular cantata composed by Johann Sebastian Bach (1685-1750) for the 31st birthday of Duke Christian of Saxe-Weissenfels on February 23, 1713. This is where its second title come, The Birthday Cantata. It has been transposed to the key of G, the key in which it is most often performed by keyboardists, Bb is included for those that prefer it in the original key. Additionally, there is a suggested abridged ending for those that prefer an abbreviated version.
