Seven Studies for Solo MalletPercussion are designed as supplemental short solos that allow students to workon their mallet percussion skills in addition to their regular lesson books.These pieces can be played on xylophone, marimba, vibraphone or orchestrabells. The 21 pieces in this collection are for beginner through intermediatestudents that have been playing for a little while, are played with two malletsand give the students practice in key signatures up to three sharps and flats,time signatures including 4/4, 3/4, 2/4 and 6/8. The beginning of thecollection starts with quarter notes, half notes and whole notes, than the piecesinclude eighth notes and sixteenth notes, triplets, double stops, grace notes,rolls and notes up to two ledger lines above and below the treble clef staff. Thethree volumes are also available separately and each solo is also available separately.
