Pros and Cons of Book
It is excellent music for marimba, and it is challenging. It will help you be a better musician and develop your 4 mallet technique. The tune is hard to find, but when you do, you should try and make the melody louder. Otherwise it is drowned out by everything else. I would recommend this book for mallets.

Where is the tune?!
I purchased this book after signing up for a few christmas gigs. Upon playing through some of the arrangements I found the original tune was buried among too much clutter. Many audience members came up to me and said What was that last one? At face value this book looks interesting and unique, however it isn't for public performances, keep it in the recital hall. A good alternative is The Yuletide Marimbist.The tunes are easily conveyed and the material is quite challenging. Additionally, all the arrangements are flexible to the performer and for any venue.
