    Fully lives up to my expectations of a flute book edited by H. Voxman. A pleasure to play, accessible to relative beginners yet full of challenging depths. Even for an individual player, these "duets" furnish delightful practice exercises. (I'm an amateur, but have been playing half a century.)

    I do really enjoy incorporating duets to play with my pupils during lessons. This book gives a good variety of difficulty levels to work with and progress through. Written and arranged very well.

    Me and my sister had a lot of fun with most of these duets, but most of them were very short, so it wasn't much to work on. The longer ones had VERY tricky rhythms and 32nd and 64th note runs.

    These short, light baroque and classical pieces from a variety of composers nicely fit the flute and violin duo for whom I purchased the book. Lots of interesting canonic material sounds more difficult than it it really is, and the non-canonic tunes are also well conceived. All pieces are...

    appropriate for reception/dinner background music or even ecclesiastical purposes. I'm sure that these can be easily and successfully adapted for other instrumentations as well.
