Published by JB Linear (A0.582011).Samuel Barber (of Adagio for Strings fame) wrote this short piece for him and a violinist and cellist to play at his sister's wedding in 1940. The piece was edited by David Flachs and published in 2010. This setting by John Gibson for flute, bassoon, and piano works well with a few minor alterations for the woodwinds. It is about 2 minutes long and its B major key signature and range factors make it for more advanced players.
