The Rondo alla Latina for organ is useful as a lighter work or an encore in recital settings. I have played this on organs ranging in size from 103 ranks down to 10 ranks. I have played this on "classical" pipe organs as well as an "orchestral" E.M. Skinner...

organ. The pedal work and the right hand are in the "advanced" category while the left hand part is mainly block chords and in the "intermediate" category. However, the left hand play - in a couple of places - plays a counterpoint along with a broken chord pattern to accompany the right hand. In other words, this work is more "advanced" than it is "intermediate". I don't have anything in my repertoire to which I can compare the "Rondo alla Latina". However, if you can play the B-flat prelude and fugue from the "Eight Little Preludes and Fugues" attributed to J.S. Bach, then you can likely learn to play the "Rondo Alla Latina". This work has been well-received by audiences and is a refreshing addition to my repertoire.
