What’s the perfect way to start the day? Stef Minnebo tries to answer this age-old question musically with his Rise and Shine. This three-movement composition for a fourpart flexible instrumentation begins with Snooze, in honour of the most treasured feature of the alarm clock. Then we have The Shower, a refreshing number, and finally the lively Breakfast Groove. No chance of a sleep in!

Hoe ziet de ideale ochtend eruit - of beter gezegd, hoe klinkt die? Stef Minnebo heeft hierop een muzikaal antwoord gegeven met zijn driedelige Flex4-compositie Rise and Shine. We steken van wal met Snooze, om rustig wakker te worden. Daarna nemen we een stevige (The) Shower, gevolgd door de Breakfast Groove. Geen sprake van een ochtendhumeur!

Wie muss man morgens geweckt werden, damit der Tag perfekt beginnt? Mit Rise and Shine - zu Deutsch etwa: Raus aus den Federn!“ - versucht Stef Minnebo diese Frage musikalisch zu beantworten. Die dreisätzige Komposition für eine vierstimmig variable Besetzung beginnt mit Snooze, der Schlummerfunktion unseres Weckers. Danach folgt The Shower, eine erfrischende Dusche, und schließlich der schwungvolle Breakfast Groove. Keine Chance für Morgenmuffel!

Quelle est la meilleure manière de s’éveiller le matin ? Rise and Shine examine cette question intéressante. Il est certainement agréable d’être réveillé par une douce chanson (1re partie : Snooze). Sous la douche, vous vous éveillez pour de bon (2e partie : The Shower). Et après le petit déjeuner (3e partie : Breakfast Groove), votre dynamisme est revenu. Maintenant vous pouvez attaquer la journée !
