By Stevie Wonder. Arranged by Stephanie Bennett. Individual Part. 10 pages. Published by Harpworld Music Co. (H0.495547-691980).

This is an advanced, pedal harp solo arrangement of the beautiful and soulful love song by Stevie Wonder, arranged by Stephanie Bennett (”One of our country’s top harpists” - the Hollywood Reporter). You can hear it on YouTube at https://youtu.be/V28skkmsrfk. (There is also a simpler, INTERMEDIATE version, suitable for pedal or lever (Celtic) harp, at https://www.sheetmusicplus.com/title/21148901.)

There are seven pages of music, plus a page of performance notes, which explains all the notations.  Lyrics are included, and all fingerings are meticulously marked. Special effects include pedal slides, evoking the jazzy ‘bent’ notes in the original piano introduction by Stevie Wonder.

It is about 3:52 (3 minutes and 52 seconds).  Just like the original recording by Stevie Wonder, it starts in the key of C sharp for the instrumental intro and the first two verses; then modulates up to D for the third verse and up to E flat for the fourth verse and the ‘outro’. It is wonderful to play at weddings, dinner parties, or any elegant-yet-modern occasion.
