Composed by M.A. Morizio. A Cappella,Christian,Sacred. Octavo. 4 pages. M.A. Morizio #1932505. Published by M.A. Morizio (A0.926656).

Our Savior Lutheran Church, Westminster, MA commissioned this piece in 2011 for their celebration of Reformation Sunday. This anthem is written for SATB a cappella choir, and has a very German choral musical style. The victory is evident and the time has changed, as evidenced by the opening salvo of unison notes – echoing the Westminster Chimes. The lyrics are based on poetry by Anarg von Wildenfels’ "O Herre Gott, dein göttlichs Wort" (1526), Martin Luther (1530), and Ignaz Franz’s "Grosser Gott" (1774). Composed for an intermediate choir, the piece is specifically suited for the Feast of the Reformation. An ideal choice for 2017, as the church will celebrate the 500th year of the Reformation. The song is 03:55 in length.
