ISBN 9780854022588. English.

Reform and Renewal celebrates the renewal of the church over the centuries, from Martin Luther to Counter-Reformation, Wesley to Vatican II. The service has been devised by Michael Hampel (Canon Precentor at St Paul's Cathedral, London) and compiled by Andrew Reid (Director, RSCM) and Tim Ruffer (Head of Publishing, RSCM). The book includes works by Palestrina, Ireland, Bairstow, Stanford, Weelkes, Mathias, Margaret Rizza, John Rutter, Ola Gjeilo, and Peter Nardone, as well as plainchant. It also includes an anthem specially written for this service by Richard Shephard, and a Magnificat & Nunc dimittis suitable for parish churches by Malcolm Archer. The book includes a wide selection of hymns and worship songs, and a choice of choral items suitable for full SATB choirs as well as those with more limited resources. Equally suitable for Area Festivals performed by hundreds and for smaller local services, the collection can be enjoyed by churches of all sizes.
