The instrument parts often stagger their entries and overlap in canonic and fugal ways reflecting each other. There are gentle dissonances between the instrument parts and the piano. Marked "expressive and fervent" this piece is full of emotions both beautiful and powerful. A unique addition to your concert repertoire.
