A unique live recording by Lukas Geniusas, a feat of extraordinary concentration and technical mastery. Played in the big hall of the famous Moscow Conservatory it displays Geniusas' prodigious gifts: supreme control, strong sense of structure and a sincere and warm projection of the human emotions of the music. Lukas Geniusas, winner of the silver medal at the 2015 Tchaikovsky Piano Competition, was born into a family of musicians, (his grandmother was the legendary Vera Gornostaeva) is Silver Medallist of the 2010 Chopin Competition, and first-prize winner of the German Piano Award and the Gina Bachauer Competion.
