The stanzas move through a variety of voicings, including unison choir, optional harmonized a capella sections, men's and women's voices, and a final unison verse with descant. The descant could easily be performed or doubled by flute, violin, or oboe. The fresh translation will lead your congregation to discover anew the beauty of this classic Christmas carol.
