Psalm Settings for the Church Year was first published in 2008 as a print collection in a two-volume set. Although the individual psalms have been available for separate purchase as downloads from the Augsburg Fortress Web store, many requests for a more comprehensive solution to providing copies of the psalm settings to local choirs have led to the issuing of this Choral CD-ROM.

This Choral CD-ROM provides two features that are not part of the two-volume print collection:

--A license that allows the purchaser of this CD-ROM to make as many copies of the musical scores as are needed for the purchaser's local musical ensembles or solo participants.

--the psalm setting musical scores are provided on this CD-ROM as individual PDF files for ease of reproduction, so that photocopying from the books is not necessary.

To make full use of Psalm Settings for the Church Year, the two-volume collection is also needed. It is printed in a durable, spiral-bound format for use both as a desk reference and on the music rack. In addition, the print collection contains a CD-ROM of melody-line graphic files in TIFF format of the assembly refrains with permission to reproduce them for the assembly.
