Composed by Giuseppe Verdi. Arranged by Sylvina Tilbury. Instructional,Opera,Romantic Period,Standards. Score. 4 pages. Sylvina Tilbury #4630079. Published by Sylvina Tilbury (A0.817426).

"La Traviata" is one of Verdi's most well-loved operas and the Prelude to Act 1 is exquisitely beautiful. I have tried to capture the beauty of the music in this new arrangement for solo piano.

Pedalling is indicated where appropriate but judicious pedal can be used throughout, taking care not to interfere with the staccato sections. Ornaments consist of a grace note plus mordent but can be simplified if needed.
