Composed by Nancy DeVries. Arranged by St Raphael's Psaltery. Christian,Sacred. Score. 3 pages. Nancy DeVries #6501553. Published by Nancy DeVries (A0.964557).

Prelude on "O Salutaris Hostia" is a liturgical organ piece based on a centuries-old Gregorian chant hymn in honor of the Eucharistic Presence of Christ. It is especially suitable as an organ prelude before Mass, or played during Communion. This meditative and versatile piece will work well on almost any organ with two manuals and pedals; only flute and string stops are suggested for registration. Minimal pedal work makes it ideal for organ students and for pianists who may be learning to play the organ. This work is also available as a piano arrangement, "O Salutaris Hostia" by the same composer.
