This particular obligato has 3 verses and is for the Away in a Manger by Kirkpatrick. It is set in the Key of F and I designed it to be gentle. The younger flutist would be able to play two of the verses and with just a bit more ability can play the third.
You can accompany it straight out of the hymnbook or I even went to wikipedia and played it along with a recording there!
