Created by An-lun Huang, “Poem for Dance” is a special music form for musicians and ballet dancers together appearing on a stage. Of course, the music could be performed itself as an instrumental piece, too. Huang’s three “Poem for Dance” have been quite successful. The Taste of Chinese color with the giving play to the Flute and Ballet skill, the “Poem for Dance#1” has been put on the stage of the National Ballet of Canada in 1984. It has also been also appointed as the official piece of the National Flute Competition of China, in 1984.
